Several police agencies are on the lookout for a suspect who carried a cash register out of a restaurant in Fountain.
Fountain Police say the suspect picked up the register at the Grand China Buffet on 221 S. Santa Fe Avenue and walked out. No weapons were involved and nobody was injured.
The suspect was described as wearing a dark colored, stocking-type cap. He was about 5'7" tall.
Afterward, the suspect drove away in a dark bronze colored late-1990’s model Z-71 Chevrolet truck. The license plate was not seen.
The suspect drove southbound on Santa Fe Avenue toward I-25.
