Carl's Jr. Robbed at Gun Point

Colorado Springs police say an armed man robbed the Carl's Jr. restaurant on Garden of the Gods Saturday night.

Police say the man entered the store and pointed a silver handgun at an employee and demanded money. After the crook took cash from the register he then ordered the employee to open the safe in the back of the store.

Police say the thief left the store carrying the cash is a large yellow bucket. He's described as a Hispanic male, 5-foot-10 with a stocky build. He was last seen wearing a blue Broncos hoodie and a white knit cap with light-colored jeans.

The crook was seen heading east on Garden of the Gods Rd. A K-9 unit tracked the crook going south along Northpark Dr.
