Updated: 05/14/2013 - I'm still focused on meeting my goal of doing a pull-up. And I'm almost there! But I'm always getting this question:
After an armed robbery early Tuesday morning, police in Cañon City are asking for help identifying the suspect.
A lone white male entered a convenience store on Royal Gorge Boulevard at 2:34 a.m. He lifted his shirt and showed the clerk a handgun that was tucked into his waistband. The clerk handed over some cash and the robber escaped.
The suspect was wearing a blue or black hoodie, black pants, black gloves and a mask with exposing only two eye holes.
Although police and a K9 unit from Florence searched the area, the suspect was not found.
Anyone who may have information pertaining to this crime is asked to call the Cañon City Police Department at 719-276-5600 or they may contact “Crime Stoppers” at 719-275-STOP (7867).
