CSPD Searching For Shooter

Colorado Springs police are searching for a man allegedly responsible for shooting his brother.

Just before 1 a.m. Friday morning, Officer Mark Peterson interviewed a shooting victim at Memorial Hospital. During the conversation, the victim revealed that he and his brother had gotten in a fight when his brother tried leaving an undisclosed location after drinking. The fight escalated as the victim tried to prevent his brother from leaving, leading his brother to pull out a handgun and shoot the victim in the leg.

The victim’s injuries are not life-threatening, but are reportedly serious.

Police are now searching for the victim’s brother, Sugar Ray Robinson. No description has been provided at this time. If anyone has any information about his whereabouts, you can call 634-STOP and leave an anonymous tip.
