The Colorado Springs Police Department has an arrest warrant for an identity theft suspect, but needs help tracking her down. Susan Ullery, 27, is wanted for felonies including identity theft, forgery, theft and attempt to influence a public official.
Ullery is a white female, 5-foot-3 and 125 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes. She has two 1.5 inch star tattoos on her forearm. She drives a rented white Chevrolet sedan with Louisiana license plates.
CSPD says Susan Ullery is accused of stealing the identity of someone in Castle Rock.
"I spend hours and hours and hours every day trying to talk to people, to send in affidavits, so they can send information to law enforcement," said Meagan, the victim in this case.
Her car was stolen by an unknown male with several personal documents inside.
Ullery is accused of using those documents to open several credit accounts at retail stores and spent several thousand dollars. She is also accused of opening accounts at five local banks, two under the stolen identity.
Using those bank accounts, Ullery allegedly deposited checks and artificially inflated the balance before withdrawing cash from each bank. Later, the checks she wrote between the accounts and to other businesses bounced.
The total value of the bounced checks and the retail credit expenses is still being calculated.
"There's still credit being issued to these people with my name, even though I had a fraud watch on my credit before that," Meagan said.
If anyone can help CSPD to find Ullery, they are asked to call 719-634-7867. You do not have to give your name and the information dispatchers at 719-444-7000 or Pikes Peak Area Crime Stoppers at could earn a cash reward.
