Blood and shell casings were found in a restaurant parking lot overnight, but police have little in the way of suspect information.
When police arrived at the Wendy's and Halla San Korean BBQ, which neighbor each other on the 1200 block of North Academy, a crowd scattered and left the area. Officers had been called around 1:40 a.m. Saturday on reports of a fight and a witness corroborated that earlier report, telling police there had been a fight and several shots were fired.
Police found the shell casings in the Halla San rear parking lot along with evidence of potential injuries, but at this time have not found any victims or suspects. They ask that anyone with information that can assist with the case call the Colorado Springs Police Department at 444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
One arrest was made; police apprehended one person fleeing the scene, who was arrested on unrelated drug charges.
