Pueblo police have confirmed that the Sunflower Bank was robbed just before 10 a.m. Monday morning by a man armed with a handgun.
Police are calling the robbery "brazen," because they say the suspect didn't try to cover himself up.
Police are still searching for the suspect who they describe as a short, white male. He is about 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-6, unshaven, and probably had blond hair. He was wearing a khaki or tan pants, was carrying a black bag, and wore a black hooded sweatshirt.
The Sunflower Bank is located on the 1700 block of S. Pueblo Blvd. The suspect ran north after leaving the bank.
Police say they're working to get surveillance photos from the bank and plan to distribute them as soon as possible.
