For the third time in 24 hours, a convenience store in Colorado Springs has been held up.
The Loaf 'N Jug on the 5300 block of Airport Road was hit just after midnight Monday.
The suspect, armed with a gun, approached the register and demanded that the clerk hand over cash. Once the clerk complied, the suspect left the scene. The clerk was unharmed.
The suspect was described as a white male, 5-foot-4 and 130 pounds, with short reddish-blonde hair. He was wearing a blue hoodie and jeans.
The suspect's description was similar to the suspect in an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven on the corner of Pikes Peak and Circle just after midnight Sunday, though police have not said if they believe the robberies were committed by the same man.
At this time, a second 7-Eleven hit Sunday morning does not appear to be related to the other robberies.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police, or call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP to remain anonymous.
