Armed Robbery At Local Wendy's Restaurant

Police say a local Wendy's restaurant was robbed, and the crook is still on the loose Monday.

Colorado Springs police say the armed robbery happened at the Wendy's on Colorado Avenue and 31st Street around 8 p.m. Sunday.

Officers say a man went up to the counter, displayed a knife and got away with cash from the clerk.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 50s with a gray beard. He was reportedly wearing a black leather jacket, jeans, a blue shirt, and a blue bandanna.
