Colorado Springs police have arrested a man they say robbed a bank and led cops on a chase before being caught.
Police say they got a call about an armed bank robbery at the TCF Bank at 4330 North Academy Blvd in Colorado Springs at 10:30 a.m. Tips led police to a vehicle near Nevada and Austin Bluffs. When cops tried to pull the car over, the vehicle fled, leading police on a short pursuit that ended at Van Buren and Wood.
A man in his 20s has been arrested. Police say money was found on the seat of the car. Police also say the car the suspect was driving was listed as being stolen.
Witnesses told police the man was armed but police say no weapon was found when they arrested him.
