Pueblo police need your help in identifying the female suspect seen in this photograph.
A woman reported on June 29, she had gone to the Pueblo West Wal-Mart as well as the north side Wal-Mart and at each store she left her wallet under the front passenger seat of her car. She didn't realize until the next morning that her wallet was missing. Even though the woman immediately canceled her credit cards and notified her bank, but the suspect had already used her bankcard at King Soopers, and two different Safeway stores.
A surveillance video from King Soopers captured a Hispanic female leaving the store after using the victim’s credit card to purchase grocery items the day of the theft.
"Police continue to urge Pueblo citizens not to leave anything of value in their vehicles. Suspects will seize the opportunity to steal valuables from your vehicle any time, day or night and it really doesn’t matter if your car is locked or unlocked. Valuables are simply that – valuables and they are simply not safe left unattended in any circumstances. If a suspect sees opportunity knocking they are sure to seize the moment causing mayhem in one’s life," warns police.
If you have any information on this female suspect you are urged to call Pueblo Crime Stoppers @ 542-STOP (542-7867) or visit our web site at www.Pueblocrimestoppers.com. Your information could earn you a cash reward.
