Police Looking For Suspects After Armed Robbery at Loaf 'n Jug

Colorado Springs police are looking for three suspects in an armed robbery at a convenience store early Friday morning.

Police say it happened around 12 a.m. Friday at the Loaf 'n Jug on Drennan Road and Hancock Expressway on the east side of Colorado Springs.

Officers tell 11 news that three suspects came into the store and one had a handgun.

They reportedly went behind the counter, taking cash, cigarettes and cigars.

Police and K-9 units followed a trail of money for about a block, but they did not find the suspects.

The armed suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 20s, about 5' 8''. Another suspect is said to be a black man in his 20s about 6 feet tall with a thin build. There's no description of the third suspect.
