Teller county jurors have convicted a man on 14 counts, including sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust, aggravated incest, enticement of a child, unlawful sexual contact, domestic violence, and harassment.
Kenneth James Cox Jr., 45, was arrested in September 2009 after responding to a report of sexual assault on a child in Woodland Park.
His conviction was passed down on July 2, but details have just now been released by the Teller County Sheriff's Office surrounding the circumstances of his arrest and conviction. His sentencing is set for September 20, 2010, an exact year after his arrest.
At the time of his arrest, Cox was listed as an adjunct instructor at Pikes Peak Community College for emergency medical technician training.
