UPDATE: Man Detained In Connection With Three Restaurant Robberies

Police say 21-year-old Clifford Jones-Johnson was detained by police and is facing charges for his involvement in three restaurant robberies on Thursday night in Colorado Springs.

Witnesses say two suspects with handguns robbed three restaurants Thursday night after 9 p.m. Colorado Springs police say they hit the Subway off of Centennial, the Subway on Delmonico Drive near Rockrimmon and then ran a few stores down in the strip mall to the Papa John's.

Cops tell 11 News they found one of the crooks by tracking down the license plate of the getaway car. They went to the house where that car was registered to him. The other man remains on the loose.

    I No what they did was wrong,But it seem like all the robberies were done by young males in the community maybe we need to figure out whats going wrong at home before we take out our youth like trash.

    YEAH, just the other night my arbys store down on nevada and costilla was robbed, few days earlier it was the arbys on san miguel, these people need to be caught and faced with some heavy fines and jail time!!!

    I wonder how many other robberies these people may have been involved in? Hopefully it will solve more than just these three.
