Police say 21-year-old Clifford Jones-Johnson was detained by police and is facing charges for his involvement in three restaurant robberies on Thursday night in Colorado Springs.
Witnesses say two suspects with handguns robbed three restaurants Thursday night after 9 p.m. Colorado Springs police say they hit the Subway off of Centennial, the Subway on Delmonico Drive near Rockrimmon and then ran a few stores down in the strip mall to the Papa John's.
Cops tell 11 News they found one of the crooks by tracking down the license plate of the getaway car. They went to the house where that car was registered to him. The other man remains on the loose.
