Police are investigating a home invasion that happened Tuesday night at the Green Crest Apartments on the 3300 block of Austin Bluffs near North Academy on the north side of Colorado Springs.

Police say two suspects kicked in an apartment door and ordered the occupants to the floor. The victims say at least one suspect was armed with a shotgun.

Police say the suspects went through the entire apartment and took undisclosed items.

Officers tell us the suspects were described as possibly White or Hispanic males, late teen early twenties, wearing dark clothing and covering their faces with bandannas.

Police say one of the victims received a minor injury when hit by one of the suspect with the butt of the shotgun.
