Colorado Springs police are investigating a suspicious death on the city's northeast side.

Major crimes was called out to the 3400 block of Sinton Road Wednesday night after a 51 year old man was found dead inside his home.

Investigators say there's not enough information to determine whether or not the man died of natural causes or if foul play was involved.

A friend found the man dead inside his home around 8:40 Wednesday night. He immediately called police. Investigators haven't found any weapons, but have some reason to think the man's death may be suspicious.

"There's some circumstances that we're looking at that may not be normal, but again at this time it's hard to say if this is in fact a natural death or if there's foul play involved," said Sergeant Jeff Jensen with the city's Homicide Unit.

Police don't know if the man was alone at the time he died. Investigators are talking to friends and neighbors to find out more.
