Suspect: Jeremy Lee Simmons is a 30-year-old, white male, 5’9”, 208 lbs., with a shaved head and brown eyes. He has the tattoo “Daddy” on the right side of his neck in cursive writing.
A kidnapping victim was found safe Sunday night, but police are still looking for his alleged kidnapper.
Authorities say at around 11:40 p.m. on Saturday police were dispatched to the 1500 block of East Caramillo Street in Colorado Springs on a domestic disturbance report.
Police say an adult female at the apartment said her ex-boyfriend, Jeremy Lee Simmons, kicked in the back door and attacked her new boyfriend, Eric Felix.
The woman then said that Simmons ordered Felix to leave the house with him. She says she hasn't seen either of them since.
Detectives from the Violent Crimes Section responded to assist with the investigation and are looking for Simmons.
Investigators have obtained a felony arrest warrant for Simmons on charges of kidnapping, burglary and criminal mischief.
A neighbor tells 11 News he's shocked and dismayed by the situation. Another neighbor says he's nervous about his neighborhood now. "I actually kind of think, 'here we go again.' I mean why is this happening closer to my home," said William Carter.
