Impersonators Stealing Senior's Credit Card Information

Police catch one of two credit card theft suspects who may have been exploiting senior citizens all across the southern half the United States.

The Colorado Springs Police Financial Crimes Unit has captured one of two credit card theft suspects who allegedly use medical scrubs ho impersonate staff/medical personnel at assisted living facilities where they steal credit cards belonging to elderly patients/clients.

Authorities say the suspects are from Louisiana and are known to exploit the elderly across the southern half of the United States.

Police say both suspects have been operating in metro Denver and south along the I-25 corridor. Police have arrested Markinious Ketrell Hartfield in connection to the crimes, but say the other suspect escaped. They believe the other suspect is Aisha Kiko Howard, an African-American female who weighs about 95 lbs. She's believed to be in her late 20's or early 30's.

Cops accuse the suspects of using the stolen credit cards that they get from senior citizens at the assisted living centers at local stores to purchase clothing and large dollar gift cards.
