Marvin LeClaire, the man police spent hours searching for on the north side of Colorado Springs Monday, has now been arrested.
A Police Detective spotted 22-year-old Marvin LeClaire Wednesday evening near the intersection of Fillmore and Chestnut Ave north of downtown Colorado Springs.
A short foot chase ensued, ending in LeClaire's arrest.
LeClaire was wanted on numerous charges and warrants including escape, robbery, burglary, stalking and auto theft.
On Monday, a police manhunt that lasted hours on the city's north side failed to find LeClaire. He reportedly had stolen a Jeep Cherokee and had was reportedly seen with a gun and a taser.
According to police on Monday, LeClaire may have fled to the Denver area. Authorities told 11 News that he had made comments that he was not going to go back to prison.
A K-9 unit was used in LeClaire's arrest.
Detectives are still looking for the stolen blue Jeep Cherokee that LeClaire was last spotted in. It has Colorado License plate number: KCL2473.
