Sheriff Looking for Armed and Dangerous Suspect


El Paso County authorities are asking for help to find a wanted man. His name is Joseph Tafoya, and he is considered armed and dangerous.

Tafoya is wanted in El Paso County on two felony warrants, one for Failure to Appear on charges of Aggravated Robbery and Felony Menacing, the second warrant is for First Degree Burglary.

Tafoya should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. If you have any information on this suspect, please contact the Sheriff’s Office at 390-5555 or your local Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.

    Me, David and Brent, KKTV covered the arrest of this man when it happened. KKTV was at the scene of the standoff. The update was posted in a separate article about the arrest and the standoff- If you search for Tafoya, you would have found this article. Thanks.

    this man and his girlfriend were captured on friday night at a hotel in northern colorado springs. channel 13 news reported it on saturday morning. you snooze, you lose..this won't be posted but wanted kktv to know that they are losing again.

    just want to know why KKTV didn't leave a "post your comments" area about the officer who did a background check on obama. will we all be arrested if we do owners do background checks all the time on why not for the so called president?

    Seems he was caught last night after a standoff in North Colorado Springs .KOAA has the latest info.
