85-Year-Old Woman Chases Down Purse Snatcher In Grocery Store

A purse snatcher leaves empty-handed after he's chased down by his victim - a woman just trying to get some groceries at a King Soopers in Pueblo.

Pueblo police say they are looking for a man who tried to steal from an 85-year-old woman who was grocery shopping in the middle of the day.

Police say the suspect grabbed the woman's purse from her shopping cart and tried to leave with it, but the feisty woman was having none of it. Police say she followed the guy and snatched her purse back.

The suspect then threw a 44 oz. bottle of detergent at the woman, hitting her in the back. The suspect was last seen leaving with two girls in a green Pontiac, Colorado License plate number 426SWN.

No suspects have been identified. The purse snatcher (seen here in this picture) is described as an 18-20-year-old Hispanic man, wearing a sleeveless black t-shirt, blue jeans and a dark-colored baseball cap turned to the side.
