Colorado Springs Police are investigating three robberies that have taken place over the last two days. All three occurred at gas stations and they believe they are all connected.
The first happened on Thursday around 6 a.m. at the Diamond Shamrock located at 2455 Arlington Dr. About two hours later the Diamond Shamrock at 432 N. Circle was robbed. The robber told the clerks that he had a weapon but never showed it to them.
Early this morning around 6:30 a.m. another robbery happened at the Conoco Station at 710 N. Union. The suspect demanded that the clerk open the register and then he reached over and took the cash out of the drawer.
The surveillance video from all three robberies show the same suspect.
He’s described as a black male, in his late 20’s or early 30’s, about 5’09” to 6’00” tall, 220 lbs. He has muscular build, with a bald or shaved head.
A white two-door vehicle was seen leaving the area following the N. Circle Diamond Shamrock robbery.
