Pueblo police are asking for the public's help in catching an armed bank robber who robbed the Pueblo Government Agencies Credit Union Monday.
On June 8 at 4:19 p.m. a man walked into the credit union, located at 720 N. Greenwood in Pueblo, and greeted the teller by saying hello. He then pulled out a large semi-auto handgun from his waistband and tells the teller “I want all of your money or I’ll kill you.”
Police say the robber then reached inside his pocket for a plastic grocery bag, but the bag got stuck and the suspect dropped his weapon. The suspect quickly picked up the gun, grabbed the money, and ran.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 30-38-years-old, approx. 6’ tall, medium build, clean-shaven (possibly a mustache), wearing a gray baseball hat with a dark bill, and a pink and light green paisley type western long sleeve shirt. He is also pictured here.
If you have any information on this robbery you are urged to call Pueblo Crime Stoppers @ 542-STOP (542-7867) or visit their Web site by clicking on the link below.
