Colorado Springs Police are searching for clues into the death of a man found inside a garage. The neighbor's house across the street is also now part of the crime scene.
It happened on the 4800 block of Wineskin. That's near Fountain and Powers.
Lynn Parker found a bullet hole in her basement window. It ended up in the ceiling, just feet away from where her kids were playing.
“At first, I was delirious. When you wake up, you can see the bullet hole through house. I didn't even hear anything," said Parker.
Springs Police said across the street from Parker’s home, they found a man's body Saturday night around 8:45 on the 4800 block of Wineskin Circle near Powers and Fountain.
Cops haven’t named any suspects yet. “We’re treating this as a homicide investigation,” Sgt. Scott Schwall with the Springs Police department said.
They also haven’t released the name of the victim, but said he is about 30-years-old.
Lynn Parker said she still can’t believe that a bullet came right into her home. "Right now, I feel blessed, very blessed. I keep crying because I feel blessed."
