40 Marijuana Plants Cut Down During Burglary

Dozens of marijuana plants were sliced down during a burglary at a Springs dispensary overnight.

The burglary happened sometime before 4 a.m. Friday in the building where Green Earth Wellness Center grows their marijuana. The building is located at 511 N. 30th St., a couple of doors down from the dispensary itself.

Police arrived to find the back door open. When they looked inside, they discovered 40 plants had been cut down. The plants were set for harvest next week.

Officers have no suspect information at this time.
