Man Hit In Head With Rock, Sent To Hospital With Serious Injuries

Just before midnight Saturday, Police answered a call of a young man lying in a ditch and bleeding. Police say he was found by some residents who found a big pool of blood on their driveway and started looking around to see where it had come from. Police say it looks like he was assaulted and hit in the head with a rock. He was found in the area of Frost Lane and Wilde Drive.

The 21-year-old man was taken to the hospital with potentially life threatening injuries. Police say he was in critical but stable condition at Memorial hosptial. Police don't have any information on a suspect at this time.
