Just after 9:30 p.m. on Friday night, Colorado Springs police officers were called out to the report of a robbery at a Loaf N Jug at 1930 S. Academy. They learned that a man had tried to buy something and when the clerk opened the cash register, the man reached in and grabbed money.

Police say the same thing also happened to two Loaf N Jug stores early Sunday morning. The first store that was robbed Sunday was the Loaf N Jug at 3705 Drennan Rd. the second was at 5375 Airport Rd.

The suspect in all three incidents is described as a black male, in his late 20's or early 30's. He's about 6 feet tall and very thin with a slight mustache and beard. If you know anything about these robberies, you are asked to call crime stoppers at 634-STOP.
