Pueblo police are searching for two suspects who violently assaulted and robbed a Popeyes Wednesday night.
Police say at approximately 10:45 p.m. two Popeyes workers were taking out the trash when they were taken at gunpoint and forced back into the restaurant.
The robbers then pistol whipped the workers and forced them in the freezer, threatening to kill them if they came out. The suspects then got away with an unknown amount of money.
Both suspects were described as being Hispanic males, mid twenties, 5’7 – 5’9” tall wearing all black, gloves and ski masks.
