A man shoveling his snow Sunday was forced inside his home to tie up his wife before being taken to a nearby ATM.

Police say it happened on the Southwest side of Colorado Springs, on the 4900 Block of Farthing Drive.

Authorities say a black male in his 20s, wearing a thin ski mask, approached the victim at his home, while he was shoveling snow just before 6:30 p.m.

The suspect was reportedly helped by another person, driving a white SUV-type vehicle. They got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The victim, who was found shortly after the crime, was not seriously injured. The police investigation is ongoing.
