Early Morning Home Invasion In The Springs

Two men forced their way into one Colorado Springs apartment early Friday morning, leaving one person injured and robbed.

Springs police say it happened around 1:00 a.m. Friday morning at the Shannon Hills apartment complex at 2110 East La Salle Street, near North Union in Colorado Springs.

The victim was reportedly struck in the head with the butt of a gun, and then tied up while the suspects stole electronic type items from the home. In addition, the suspects took possession of the victim’s car keys, and the victim’s black Ford Explorer was taken from the complex lot.

Suspect one described as a light-skinned black male in his 20’s, 6’ 02”, slender, wearing a blue bandanna and dark colored clothing.

Suspect two is described as a black male in his 20’s, 5’ 10”, average build, wearing a blue bandanna and dark colored clothing.
