Employee Shot During Pizza Store Robbery

Springs police say pizza store employee is recovering after being shot during an armed robbery.

Springs police say it happened around 2:00 a.m. Thursday at The Road Runner Pizza Shop on North Hancock.

Police say a man wearing a ski mask pulled a gun on employees at the pizza place, shooting one of the employees in the leg before getting away with cash.

Police say the victims injuries are not life threatening and the suspect is described as a medium build white male, last seen wearing blue jeans and a black sweatshirt.

    And if this employee were to have had a concealed carry permit and a pistol on him and were to shoot the criminal and not have gotten shot himself, then he would have been fired. Its better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6!

    Like the comments or not, this city is in an unrecoverable downward spiral with the current civic leadership which includes CSPD.
