Employee Held At Gunpoint During Robbery

Springs police say a Dairy Queen employee was held at gunpoint while the suspect robbed the store.

Police say the female employee was taking out the trash when the suspect approached her from behind. The suspect walked her back into the store at gunpoint and demanded cash. The suspect ran out of the store through the back door with an unknown amount of cash. The employee was not injured during the robbery.

Police say they conducted a K9 search, but the suspect was nowhere to be found. The suspect is described as a black male 25 to 30-years-old wearing a gray sweatshirt and light blue jeans.
