Part of the problem is ~ we are cutting back on what are city needs. We are cutting back on our Sheriffs. We are cutting back on things to HELP keep our community safe. It is pure insanity. INSANE.

When I moved here from Denver in 2000 I thought this was a pretty safe city. But after whats been happening these past few years I really dont see this as a safe city anymore. I lock my car doors all the time now when driving somehwere, and even at fast food drive thrus. It sometimes feels like I am back in Denver....

Here is how this goes down. The city does not have the resources to protect and serve; the county has deputies only responding to calls and remaining idle otherwise. So as citizens, since the government cannot protect us due to mismanagement of funds; we need to protect ourselves. God help you if I ever see this type of behavior. You will be shot on sight.
