A woman is allegedly abducted and then sexually assaulted in Colorado Springs and police need your help to find the suspects.
Springs police say it happened around 9:00 p.m. Tuesday night while the woman was walking from her apartment to a nearby shopping center located in the Villiage Seven area on North Academy Boulevard.
"Things are getting crazy," said Timisha DeClue, who works nearby. "It used to not be like this. You used to be able to feel comfortable."
The 47-year-old woman says she was knocked to the ground by two men and then forced into a older model white car driven by another man.
She says she was assaulted for about 30 minutes and then driven back to where she had been abducted.
The woman was treated at the hospital for injuries to her back, neck and abdomen.
Police are looking for answers and discussing options after the second similar attack in less than a week. The first happened in a Target parking lot last Saturday on Cheyenne Mountain Boulevard. Police say the attacks are similar, but not connected.
"Both did occur in a public place which is something we have to look at and see if there's something we can do educationally or from a patrol perspective," said CSPD spokesperson Lt. Skip Arms
The woman from Tuesday night's incident described her attackers at black males in their mid to late 20's. One was wearing a dark hoodie with three white skulls on it, and the other was wearing glasses with sparkly frames.
