Authorities have arrested two suspects and say a third is still on the loose in a home invasion, kidnapping, burglary and assault.
Springs police say the bizarre string of events began with a home invasion around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at 822 Farragut Ave., between North Union Boulevard and North Hancock Avenue.
The homeowner said several men forced their way into his home, demanding money for an unknown debt and then he was shot in the foot.
The crooks also allegedly stole two electric guitars from the home.
Police say when they were at the home investigating another victim, a person who was with the group when they invaded the house returned to the scene claiming he was only with them because they had kidnapped him for the same debt that they invaded the home.
The alleged person who was kidnapped then took officers to a residence on Foote Avenue, where police arrested two of the alleged suspects. Police also found two handguns, one of which was stolen from the Lakewood Police Department.
The suspects arrested are identified as Nicholas Horsley and Ashley Smith. Police say there is still one more suspect on the loose.
