Bike To Work Events Planned Across Colorado
Coloradans are being encouraged to pedal instead of drive as part of the annual Bike to Work Day Wednesday.

Cyclists who participate are being offered breakfast, helmet fittings, prizes and other perks in Aspen, Durango, Fort Collins, Steamboat Springs, Denver and elsewhere.
Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper and House Speaker Terrance Carroll are pedaling to work.
The Colorado Department of Transportation says the number of people participating in Bike to Work Day has risen steadily since 1995. In the Denver area, the number of participants in last year's event increased 60.
The League of American Bicyclists has been sponsoring National Bike Month and Bike to Work Day since 1956.
