One construction worker is dead and another seriously injured after a hydraulic lift platform collapsed in Massachusetts.

Police say the men were working on the lift Friday when it toppled over. They fell about 25 feet to the ground.

Police say a 40-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. The other worker was hospitalized.

The victims worked for Lymo Construction of New Hampshire. The accident is being investigated.
