The Campbell Soup Co. says it's putting up $10 million to help its hometown.
The company and the Campbell Soup Foundation announced Wednesday they'll contribute to causes in Camden over the next five years.
The grant includes $2 million for job training and professional development for residents and $3 million to neighborhood groups for revitalization. Campbell is also expanding its headquarters.
Campbell is to get $3 million in tax breaks.
The world's largest soupmaker has had its headquarters in Camden, one of the nation's poorest cities, since the company was founded in 1869.
