A juvenile male has been arrested and a second could also face criminal charges as a result of what Arapahoe County sheriff's officials are calling a biased-motivated crime.
Authorities say a homeowner reported seeing two juveniles dressed in dark clothing in her front yard early Thursday. The woman said the suspects had a shovel and were digging in the yard.
The two ran when she yelled, but she says she then discovered obscenities and swastikas spray painted on the garage door.
The woman told officials her family is Jewish.
Deputies on Friday identified two juveniles they believe were responsible. One was arrested on suspicion of ethnic intimidation and criminal mischief.
The other juvenile was released pending possible future charges.
