A fire in a mobile home near Pollock, Louisiana, has left six people dead.

Officials say the cause of the fire, which broke out early Sunday morning, is under investigation.

Friends and relatives told an Alexandria, Louisiana, newspaper that the victims included a husband and wife, her two children, his child and a young man who was staying for the night.

Authorities have refused to confirm that information pending the autopsies and notification of relatives.
