Boulder police are looking for a man and woman suspected of seriously injuring another woman by hitting her in the head with a baseball bat.

The victim, whose name hasn't been released, suffered a brain contusion, facial fracture, deep cuts and possible nerve damage.

Police spokeswoman Sarah Huntley says the woman was attacked late Tuesday after confronting a group of people in front of her apartment. She told police she was assaulted after asking the people if they lived in the area.

The suspects were talking to people about selling a car. The victim told police there had been break-ins in the area.

The suspects left in a car, possibly a white Cadillac Seville.
