A former Cleveland firefighter has been convicted in a deadly shooting rampage last summer.
The jury rejected the defense argument that Terrance Hough acted in a fit of temporary rage because people were setting off 4th of July fireworks when he shot them early on the 5th.
Hough was convicted yesterday of killing his next-door neighbor and two of the neighbor's friends. He could get the death penalty.
Assistant Prosecutor John Kosko argued that the killings by the 12-year veteran firefighter were deliberate.
Kosko told jurors, "It wasn't an accident. It wasn't self defense. It wasn't insanity. It was cold-blooded, aggravated murder."
As the verdict was read, Hough stared ahead and showed no emotion.
Police records show Hough's wife had called several times with complaints about the neighbors.
