Police in St. Paul, Minnesota have outlined a parade route for anti-war protesters who want to march during the Republican National Convention.

And the authorized route will allow marchers to get within 300 feet of the Xcel Energy Center, where the GOP convention will take place.

The Coalition to March on the RNC and Stop the War has been frustrated that it didn't receive its parade route earlier.

The city told the group it would have a route outlined by May 31, but the group said the late date wouldn't give it enough time to plan, or challenge, the route -- if necessary.

Organizers also worried that the route wouldn't put them within sight and sound of the Xcel Center.

The GOP convention runs September 1 though the 4 at the Xcel Energy Center in downtown St. Paul.

Democrats will hold their convention a week earlier, August 25 through the 28, at Denver's Pepsi Center.

Please keep in mind that any violent outbreaks/riots that erupt will not be done by Ron Paul supporters or anti-war protesters, despite what the news media (such as the one that claims to be fair and balanced) tells you. Any such things will be the work of thugs who want to discredit Ron Paul (who is still running) and the anti-war voice.
