Some stretches of highway near a cluster of Florida wildfires are open again while crews struggle for a third day to stop the flames.

Firefighters in Brevard County say 3,800 acres are scorched, or about six square miles. Dozens of homes have been damaged or destroyed.

Parts of Interstate 95 and U.S. Highway 1 in Brevard County reopened this morning.

The National Weather Service says firefighters could get some help from winds along the coast that are expected to slow to 10 to 15 miles-an-hour.

Meantime, officials say at least one of the fires may have been deliberately set.
