A woman was flown to the hospital after she crashed into the back of a car, according to state troopers.

A woman was flown to the hospital after she crashed into the back of a car, according to state troopers.

Troopers tell 11 News the 41-year-old driver was not wearing her seat belt when she crashed into the back of a car making a turn. This happened just after 2 p.m. Friday on Highway 24 and Cottontail Road in Falcon.

The extent of the woman's injuries are not known. The driver of the car who was turning was not hurt.

The crash closed Highway 24 while crews were investigating.
