PUEBLO, Colo. - Three ThunderWolves have earned All-American recognition by the Beyond Sports College Network, it was announced Wednesday.
Senior quarterback Ross Dausin (Sr., San Antonio, Texas) gathered third-team honors and his first All-American recognition after leading CSU-Pueblo to its second straight 11-0 regular season and a number-one national ranking for the final five weeks of the season. For the second straight year, Dausin led the Pack into the NCAA Division II Playoffs as the #1-ranked team in the nation.
Joining Dausin in receiving third-team honors were Josh Sandoval (Jr., Pueblo, Colo.), earning All-American honors for a second straight season as a punt returner. In 2012, Sandoval averaged 12.0 yards per return and extended his CSU-Pueblo school record for return yardage and return average.
Rounding out the Pack's selections were tackle Ryan Jensen (Sr., Fort Morgan, Colo.), who garnered honorable mention selection. Jensen, a national finalist for the Gene Upshaw Award, honoring Division II's top lineman, was an All-American in 2011 and is a two-time first-team All-RMAC selection.
