Manning and Former Team Having Successful Seasons

Posted: 8:48 PM Nov 25, 2012
Reporter: AP

Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos picked up their sixth straight victory with a 17-9 win at Kansas City. Manning threw for 285 yards and two touchdowns while the Broncos kept the Chiefs out of the end zone. Jacob Tamme and Demaryius Thomas each had touchdown catches for the 8-3 Broncos. Knowshon Moreno added 85 yards rushing in place of Willie McGahee (mih-GAY'-hee), who went on injured reserve last week with a knee injury.

The Chiefs fell to 1-10 despite Jamaal Charles, who rushed for 107 yards.

Manning's old team is 7-4. T.Y. Hilton became the first player in Colts history to score touchdowns on a reception and a kick return in the same game, leading Indianapolis to a 20-13 win over Buffalo. Hilton put the Colts ahead to stay by bringing back a punt 75 yards for a score five minutes into the contest.

Rookie Andrew Luck completed 20 of his 37 throws for 240 yards and a touchdown while going over 3,000 passing yards for the season.
