Hearing Delayed For Man Accused Of Rape

We've learned there's been a delay in the trial for a man accused of a brutal rape in Colorado Springs.

Sarmad Mohammed is charged with raping a woman back in July of last year.

Tuesday, the prosecution requested more time to prepare for the case, so the judge delayed the trial until June.

You'll remember the victim told police she tried to break up a fight at an apartment complex. She says she later went into one of the apartments with four men, was given something to drink, and passed out.

When she woke up, she says she had been sexually assaulted.
Another man involved in the case is appealing his conviction.

The judge will hear that appeal in June as well.
