I-25 Open After Road Rage Rollover

Both directions of I-25 at Garden of the Gods are now re-opened following a rollover accident.

Police say it started as a possible road rage incident. A man in a red Subaru wagon was headed south on I-25 when he crossed three lanes of traffic and hit a black Jeep. The Subaru rolled and landed upside down in the median. The driver had to be extricated from the car. He was rushed to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.

The driver could be cited with reckless driving.
