Man Driving Stolen Vehicle Escapes From Police

A man driving a stolen vehicle led police on a chase through Colorado Springs Tuesday night.
The suspect is still on the loose this morning.
It started at the 7-Eleven parking lot on Platte and Union. That’s where police found a stolen car. As police got out to investigate, the suspect rammed his police cruiser and sped off.
Police tell 11 News he got to I-25 and headed south to Pueblo. That’s where police ended their chase for safety reasons.
The stolen car is described as a white Hyundai Sonata with damage to the rear passenger door. The license plate is 718-ZBK.
